I've got work for another four hours so I can't sleep until then.

I'm fine. I can still move and use them, and they don't hurt.
[ The bigger problem is losing the ability to feel stuff such as heat and cold, but the tactile sense is still fine so... ]

Maybe you could keep a diary, so you can remind yourself in case you forget. Um, I'm okay so far.
